FISHING CABO AND THE EAST CAPE

CABO ATV & OFFROAD
ACTIVITIES
ATV rentals and tours in Cabo San Lucas have been become a
very popular way to spend a few hours or the day. Sightseeing
takes on a whole new perspective on an ATV. Tour operators
are available throughout Los Cabos and the East Cape offering
guided trips through desert, arroyos, mountains, beach, sand
dunes… even through the heart of town.
ATV's aren't the only option when it comes to off-road adventures
in Baja Sur and Los Cabos. Mountain bike rentals and guided
tours are very popular and give you the chance to get up close
and personal with the lush terrain. This gives the biker or
hiker tremendous opportunities of observing the diversity
of life that exists here. Other options available include
Hummer Expeditions and Jeep Safaris.
For the speed demons, take a trip to Wide Open Baja for the
thrill of driving a real Chenowth Magnum off-road race car.
They'll shuttle you from Cabo San Lucas to their 1,500 acre
facility where you'll receive a bit of training then start
out on a mile long training lap, once you get the hang of
it, it's off to the real track! Three miles around, thirteen
corners, five jumps, two sand washes and unlimited wide-open

PARASAILING
Get a bird's eye view of Cabo San Lucas and the world famous
Arch (el Arco) at Land's End when you strap yourself into
the harness of a parasailer. Rides last about 10 minutes
with your "airtime" running around eight minutes.
For the best ride, try going out in the morning hours before
all the on the water activity and the afternoon breeze brings
the chop and wind waves out.

XTREME CANOPY TOUR (Zip lines)
Fly across the Costa Azul Canyon along more than 3 miles
of high-altitude zip Lines. This is an exciting adventurous
high cable ride above the river canyon, whilst suspended
safely in a harness - expert and professional experienced
guides on hand to ensure your safety and pleasurable and
memorable rides. NOT AVAILABLE for people with heart, neck
or back problems. Kids over 7 allowed and adults weighing
less than 250 lbs.
SURFING
Surfing in Cabo offers diversity in location, break direction,
level of difficulty and some of the greatest coastal scenery
you're likely to experience anywhere in the world. With
hundreds of miles of coastline along the Pacific ocean and
the Sea of Cortez, spending a few days scouting ridable
breaks is a great adventure.
CABO SAN LUCAS NIGHTLIFE
Cabo San Lucas is famous for it's clubs, bars and all night
party atmosphere. Whether you're a spring break partier
or a more laid back, margarita-in-hand type, you can find
the right bar to belly up to for a relaxing afternoon cocktail
or a packed floor to dance the night away on. From live
rock bands, smoky jazz, upbeat Latin music or mariachi,
Cabo San Lucas nightlife is hard to beat.
SHOPPING IN LOS CABOS
If you’re looking for custom designed jewelry, many
shops in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo can design
just about anything you’d like and have it ready in
a day or two. Mexican Fire Opals are a great choice to add
to any design and the selection in Los Cabos is very good.
Stop in, discuss your design, return the next day and wear
it out to dinner that evening. Not a bad way to enjoy your
new purchase.
Just up the road from Cabo San Lucas, a visit to the Blown
Glass Factory gives shoppers the opportunity to see glass
blowers at work, creating the colorful wares that line the
shelves inside the store.
San Jose del Cabo is a great location to purchase high-quality
jewelry, home furnishings and folk art in Los Cabos. Start
out at Plaza Mijares in the center of historic colonial
San Jose and fan out in all directions to explore dozens
of small, mostly owner-operated shops.
Venture up the Pacific side of the Baja and you'll find
Todos Santos. A quaint town that has grown to become an
artist's colony with many shops, restaurants and galleries.
Worth the drive if you're looking to experience a less hectic
pace than Cabo San Lucas. Stop in for lunch at the famous
Santa Fe Cafe, or experience the old times where the Eagles
wrote and stayed at "Hotel California".
